Lena Waite is welcoming in a brand new technology of expertise into the trade. The Emmy winner’s manufacturing firm, Hillman Grad, has launched The Hillman Grad Mentorship Lab, a 10-month, tuition-free program designed to offer “alternatives for marginalized storytellers to attach, develop, and speed up their profession in tv and movie.”
Comprised of workshops, academic sources, and professional growth and networking alternatives for its cohort of “numerous writers, actors, and aspiring inventive executives,” the Lab is “dedicated to infusing new narratives and views in entrance of and behind the digital camera.”
This system grants fellows the distinctive alternative to boost their inventive skillset via personalised instruction from trade professionals, creating further pathways to convey extra folks from numerous backgrounds into the leisure trade.
The Hillman Grad Mentorship Lab will welcome 25 fellows and is split into three separate tracks: tv writing, display appearing, and govt growth.
Submissions at the moment are open. The deadline to submit is January 10, 2021.
